New Delhi: Preparations for the National Delegates Conference to be held here on 30th and 31st August have been completed. Over 300 representatives from various states will be participated in the two day event, titled ‘Inclusive India’. The conference will formulate various educational empowerment initiatives under the auspices of the organization. Prior to this, reports of pilot projects conducted in various states will be reviewed at the conference. The action plan for the next two years will also be finalized.
Palestine Ambassador Adnan Abu Al-Hija will inaugurate the event at the Indian Islamic Center Auditorium on Friday 30th August at 9.30 am. The session will be presided over by Prof K Alikkutty Musliyar, General Secretary of Samastha Kerala Jamiathul Ulama. National Herald Editor Mr Zafar Aga will deliver the keynote address. MPs PK Kunhalikutty, PV Abdul Wahab, Elamaram Kareem, Kerala Muslim Welfare Association President KK Basheer and Adv. Zulfikar will address the gathering. Social Activist Harsh Mander and The Hindu Associate Editor, Zia U Salam, will introduce the theme ‘Inclusive India.’
The panel discussion on “Constitution and Social Justice” will be inaugurated by Adv. Prashant Bhushan at 2pm. Adv. Onampilli Mohammed Faizi will preside over the function. Adv. Harris Beeran, Adv. Syed Marsook Bafakhi, Shahid Thiruvallur, Adv. Muhammad Tayyib Hudawi, Adv. CK Faisal will also speak in the session.
The second day programs will be held at Ivane Ghalib Hall at 9.30am. Zakat Foundation Chairman Mr Zafar Mahmood IRS will inaugurate the seminar on the theme ‘Muslim India: the Way Ahead’. Syed Sadiqali Shihab, Panakkad will preside over the session. Mr Naveed Hamid, the president of All India Muslim Majlisse Musawara will be the chief guest. Dr. Bahauddin Mohammed Nadvi, ET Muhammad Basheer MP, Maulana Abdul Mateen (West Bengal), Maulana Noorul Huda Noor, Haseeb Ahmad Ansari (Maharashtra), Mohammed Anees Abbasi (Rajasthan), Mohammed Raees Kausari (Karnataka), Dr. Zubair Hudawi, Dr. Basheer Panangangara will present papers. Group discussion among the delegates from various states will be leaded by Dr. Bishrul Hafi and Dr. KT Jabir Hudawi.
The Closing cermoney will be inaugurated by Mr Shafiq Rahman Barq MP in the presidency of SKSSF President Syed Hameedali Shihab, Panakkad. Mr Amanatullah Khan MLA will be the chief guest. Prominent personalities will deliver their closing messages.
